章子怡首部電視劇作品「上陽賦」開播，劇中她從少女演起，一出場角色設定就是15歲，結果現實生活中將滿42歲的她遭虧根本沒有「少女感」，她惱羞在微博上發文嗆：「『上陽賦』片方和平台別再消費我營銷『少女感』了！」過去也曾有許多一線女星演出古裝劇從小演到老，幾乎都難逃遭批沒有少女感的命運。
章子怡對「少女」的形容很敏感，表示：「我是很清醒的！接到劇本的那一刻，我就知道要跟阿嫵（角色名）一起成長和變化，觀眾是需要一個清淨的環境去了解和認識『她』的。我是本本分分地塑造角色，其他對我的消費大可不必！」網友卻反酸：「那為啥接這個角色呀？」、「你敢接不敢被說？」、「少女時期完全可以讓給別人演的。」
